Nepal has bagged 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals in the SAG 2019 Triathlon.

The three day competition was participated by a total of 26 athletes from three countries-Nepal, India and Srilanka.

Sony Gurung and Himala Tamata have won one-one gold under Men’s and Women’s Sprint Category. Likewise, gold medal for the duathlon Sprint Men’s Category has been awarded to Laxman Malla whereas; Humi Buda Magar of Nepal has scored bronze under female category.

The team of Sony Gurung, Dipesh chuadhary, Keshari Thapa Magar and Basanta Tharu has won Silver medal in Mixed Team Relay. After Basanta Tharu Scored Bronze medal in men’s Sprint Category of Triathlon, Nepal’s medal count reached to total of six.

India has bagged a total of 5 medals in Tirathlon-2 gold, 2 silver and 1 Bronze whereas, Srilanka has scored a total of 4 medals including 1 gold and 3 bronze in 2019 SAG Triathlon
